Recipe: Avocado Chocolate Pudding

Avocado Chocolate Pudding

Prep time: 15 minutes of prep, 1 hour to chill. Makes 2 servings.


  • 1 medium ripe avocado, halved and pitted

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 6 tablespoons skim milk or unsweetened non-dairy milk

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup


  1. Scoop the avocado flesh into the blender. Add cocoa powder, your choice of milk, and honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth, starting on low and increasing the speed to high as you go.

  2. Transfer to a bowl. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

  3. Serve cold.
